This journal goes back to 2003, almost 10 years, which is a long time.  But I want to start my life over, I have a new LJ.  My username is crzydmd.  I actually have like 7 LJs but we won't go there, lol.  Just letting anyone who might be reading this know.

I've only been at my parents' house for a few months and already I'm about to lose it with them.  In all likelihood it will be years before I get out of this state, and until then I really have no place to go.  I simply cannot live here for years, yet I also cannot afford an apartment.  But I have a solution.  I have no idea how to convince my parents to do this, but it's the only way.  What I want to do is make the playroom into a studio apartment of sorts.  Wall it off from the house and put an entrance where the back window is.  There's plenty of room in the yard for a staircase.  I'd be willing to pay rent for it.  The only downside is it doesn't have a bathroom, but I could always come into the house if I needed to.  But other than that I would live in here.  It wouldn't be that hard really.  It's over the garage so it would be easy to wall off from the house, and they'd just have to made the window into a door and build a staircase.  Really not that big a project.  I wish there was a way to incorporate the bathroom to my dad's room; he uses the one in my mother's room.  Maybe there is a way.  It's right next to the playroom.  So, make that bathroom and this room into an apartment.  I honestly think it's the only way I can be here.  I'm going to attempt to convince my parents of this.... and I am not letting up.

Okay, I'm annoyed. Someone I really want to talk to just signed onto AIM then signed right off. I haven't been able to find a good time to talk to them and now I finally do and they vanish. I hope they aren't avoiding me. I'm probably being paranoid and it has nothing to do with me but I'm gonna be upset until I know. And I really wanted to talk to them tonight. Quite a bit. So I really hope they sign back on. And if they should read this, please sign on... I want to talk to you.

In an innocent attempt to gather information on the Beatles song "Yesterday" I stumbled upon this:

"Yesterday is the day before today.

The term may also describe some indefinite time in the past, rather than the previous day."

I love Wikipedia.

Cars
I am so irked. When I bought my CR-V back in '04 I did so partially because no one else had one. Now EVERYONE has one. The other day I saw 11 just while waiting at a light. I hate having stuff that's popular. So I'm saving up my money and buying an Opel GT. No one has one of those.

I just had this fantastic idea to invent the word stong, but I wanted to make sure no one had already so I looked it up and this is what Wikipedia said:

"Þjóðveldisbærinn Stöng is a reconstructed viking-era Long house or farmstead in Iceland, located in the Þjórsárdalur valley near road 32 in the Árnessýsla county. It is a replica of the building which stood at Stöng 7km to the north which was buried under volcanic ash in 1104 following the eruption of the volcano Hekla.

The reconstruction was built in 1974 as a part of the national celebrations of the 1100th anniversary of the settlement of Iceland in 874."

I can't really top this, but I'm impressed that I thought of it in the first place.
